​​FAB has a strong commitment to embracing contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including philosophy, social sciences, critical cultural studies, law, medicine and public health, history, psychology, and others. We also particularly encourage submissions from early career researchers.
​
The FAB World Congress is a biennial international conference that is coordinated to coincide with the International Association of Bioethics World Congress, and is recognized as the pre-eminent international feminist bioethics meeting. We attract participants from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds from all over the world.

​The Donchin and Holmes Emerging Scholar Prize
Established on the occasion of FAB’s 20th Anniversary, this prize honors the co-founders of FAB, Anne Donchin and Helen (Becky) Bequaert Holmes. The prize is awarded for the best paper accepted for presentation at the biennial FAB World Congress by a graduate student or early career scholar. The award consists of $500 USD, a certificate, and recognition on the program.
​​Judging Criteria: The panel of judges will evaluate the paper on knowledge of the relevant literature, organization/structure, quality of reasoning, originality of thought, and quality of writing.
