FAB Membership
Join FAB and become a member of one of the largest and most vibrant international bioethics network. Membership in FAB is on an annual basis and includes subscription to our very own International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics.
FAB Membership benefits include:

- Discounted registration to the biennial FAB Congress
- Eligibility to apply to the Audre Lorde Memorial Fund administered by FAB for funding to attend the biennial congress (in conjunction with other eligibility requirements including financial need)

Sponsored Memberships via a dues waiver
A limited number of free sponsored memberships with journal subscriptions are available to FAB members for whom the full FAB membership rate is unaffordable. These are funded by 'sponsors membership' fees.
To qualify, please provide the following:
- Contact details - first and last name; full postal address and zip code; phone number and email
- A signed statement affirming lack of income (less than US$20 000)
- Evidence of current feminist scholarship or related work (details of presentations, publications, research in progress, other relevant activities)
- A request for electronic access to the journal (a request for a print copy requires justification)
Successful applicants should make the journal available to others in their local area through FAB country representatives or similar, and will be asked to provide details of this in any subsequent applications

Financial Support
The Audre Lorde Memorial Fund for Bioethics Research honours the memory of Audre Lorde whose life and work personifies FAB's mission. Donations to this fund are tax deductible in the US and in other jurisdictions where allowable. The donations are used to fund scholarships and travel grants for deserving FAB members who are speaking at our biennial conferences.
